Dubai real estate sector recorded $3.6bn of transactions last week, including $38m Dorchester Collection property

The Dubai real estate sector recorded more than AED13.1bn ($3.6bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.


Sales dominated the figures, with AED9.81bn ($2.7bn), according to Land Department data.


In total there were 3,790 sales transactions recorded between August 12 and August 16.


Dubai real estate this week


Among the top listed sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:


  An apartment Dorchester Collection Dubai sold for AED139m ($37.8m)

  An apartment in Casa Canal sold for AED58.5m ($15.9m)

  An apartment in Il Primo sold for AED38.4m ($10.5m)


The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED2.72bn ($741m) last week.


Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED576m ($157m).
