Top real estate developers Nakheel and Meydan are poised to merge under the Dubai Holding umbrella, as announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Saturday. This strategic move is aimed at consolidating and bolstering Dubai's economic growth momentum.
The new entity will be overseen by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, streamlining operations by eliminating the separate Boards of Directors for Nakheel and Meydan Company. The merger will enable Dubai Holding to expand its portfolio across various sectors, including real estate, tourism, hospitality, leisure, entertainment, and investments.
This integration is expected to leverage a diverse range of services and expertise, enhancing economic diversification and strengthening competitiveness in the global market.
